Mr. Heiko Aschoff possesses a degree in economics and has more than 20 years of experience in stock exchanges as a financial expert and as a banker. As a manager of pension funds he is involved in an investment volume of several billions of Euro. In the stock exchange service "Investment Ideen" ("Investment Ideas") and on the webpages of the financial portal Value-Stocks.com whose co-founder he is, he presents his personal recommendations and his experience. Moreover, he became known as the author of the book "Investmentstrategien der Profis" ("Investment Strategies for Experts") and as a speaker at financial seminars.

Thomas Bachheimer is the President of the Gold Standard Institute for Europe. The first part of his professional career he dedicated to international markets and trading, working for major houses in Vienna, Dublin and Munich.

After a key moment during Christmas 2001 when his grandmother said, regarding the introduction of the euro, “This is the forth monetary reform in my lifetime, and I've always lost everything”, he started to thoroughly study the history and characteristics of the western monetary system as well as the theories of the Austrian school of economics. In due course, he made his dedication his profession and is now fully committed to informing “users of currency”, i. e. end-consumers and economic stakeholders about the advantages of non-political, backed currencies and to promoting a new line of thought within the international monetary system. Markus Bachmann holds a business degree from the University of Berne, Switzerland. He began his career in the corporate finance department of the Credit Suisse Group. In 1997, he joined the emerging markets team of SBC Brinson as the Analyst and Portfolio Manager responsible for the markets of Greece, Portugal, Israel, the Middle East and South Africa. In early 2000, Markus joined Coronation Fund Managers in Cape Town, South Africa, as a Senior Portfolio Manager and Global Resources Specialist with responsibility for various retail products and institutional mandates. In 2001, he received the S&P Award for Manager of the Best Performing Large Cap Equity Unit Trust in South Africa. Markus left Coronation to set up Craton Capital in 2003. As the fund manager since inception, the performance of the fund has been a testament to his expertise.

Mr Bandulet was part of the editorship of two of the biggest German publications (Die Welt and Quick). He is the author of the legendary culture magazine Transatlantik, and has travelled the world as special international correspondent. In the 1980s he lived in Surrey, England before moving back to Germany with his family. He has been holding finance seminars since 1980, holds regular presentations in Europe and overseas. He writes books and two monthly publications: "Gold & Money Intelligence" (since 1979) and "DeutschlandBrief" (since 1995).

Ross J Beaty is a geologist and resource company entrepreneur with more than 38 years of experience in the international minerals industry, Mr. Beaty founded and currently serves as Chairman of Pan American Silver Corp., one of the worlds leading silver producers. Mr. Beaty has also founded and divested a number of other public mineral resource companies since 1985, including Northern Peru Copper sold to China Minmetals in January 2008 for $457 million and Global Copper Corp to Teck Cominco in August 2008 for $500 million. Ross Beaty is Chairman and CEO of the new geothermal company Magma Energy Corp.

Mr Bensimon graduated in Finance with distinction several times over from the University of British Columbia. He has 20 years of experience in inter-banking and the stock market, as well as being an expert in interest and the commodity markets. For the past 10 years he has had his own company, Polar Pacific Pty Ltd., an advisory company with license to the Australian stock exchange supervision. For over five years Uwe Bergold was head of one of the first asset management companies in Germany focusing on precious metal and commodity investments. In his publications, he warned of the stock crash in March 2000, and one year later accurately predicted the gold boom. Since then his investment focus is on the gold and commodity sector. Uwe Bergold is fund manager and author of various books.

His book "Investmentstrategien mit Rohstoffen" (Investment Strategies with Commodities) by now is one of the standard works on the topic. From 2001 to 2007, he was a lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences Amberg-Weiden and guest lecturer at a university in Poznań, Poland. From 2001 to 2003, Bergold was a lecturer at  Sparkassenakademie Bayern in Landshut and, from 2004 to 2006, he was a lecturer at Deutsche Sparkassenakademie in Bonn. Since 2005 (when the fair took place for the very first time), he is one of the speakers at the International Precious Metals & Commodities Show in Munich. Bergold is responsible for the investment strategies of three investment funds: pro aurum ValueFlex, NOAH-Mix OP and GR Dynamik OP.

Dr. Berlenbach studied geology at the University of Cologne. After graduating he went on to do his PhD in mining geology at Rand Afrikaans University. Between 1991-94 he was a lecturer in economic and structural geography at the University of Durban-Westville and besides took an MBA course at the University of Durban-Westville and at the University of Witwatersrand. At the same time he worked as a consultant in the mining industry. From 1995 to October 1997 he was a project manager at the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research. From 1997 until the foundation of his own gold fund in 2003 he worked as an analyst for south African gold and platinum mines at the Standard Bank of South Africa, ING Barings and Schroder Salomon Smith Barney (Citibank). In the summer of 2006 he left Craton Capital. Since then he is fund manager and investment analyst with Earth Resource Investment Group. He is founder of the group himself. Currently Dr. Berlenbach manages the following funds: the Earth Exploration Fund UI (previously Tiberius Exploration Fund), the Earth Energy Fund UI and the Earth Gold Fund UI.

Mr. Chris Berry holds an MBA in Finance with an international focus from Fordham University, and a BA in International Studies from The Virginia Military Institute. A life-long interest in geopolitics and the financial issues that  emerge from these relationships sparked Chris’ interest in how economies grow and how wealth is created. This curiosity led to the study of commodities and the role they play in enhancing a society’s standard of living.

He is a firm believer in the emerging Quality of Life Cycle emanating from Asia and believes it will have profound effects across the globe in the coming years. He currently devotes much of his time to "energy metals" - those metals or minerals used in the generation or storage of energy.

Jürgen Birner (born 1968) is the branch manager of pro aurum GmbH at the Munich headquarters and a precious metals expert with more than 20 years of industry experience.

Markus Blaschzok, certified business economist, is a financial market analyst as well as economist of the Austrian School of Economics. Since 2009, he has been publishing the well-known market report with focus on precious metals and commodities as well as Austrian Economics. He offers a premium information service for traders and investors to profit from cycles on commodity markets and foreign exchanges via swing trading. He founded Blaschzok Research in 2010 and has been leading economist of SOLIT Group since 2015. The early advocate of the Austrian School of Economics, who wrote his thesis about this economical thinking in 2007, is pursuing a rare integral approach to analysis. Technical analysis, fundamental analysis as well as macro-economical and political correlations form the analytical basis of his successful market projections. His regular reports on Commitment of Traders data is known internationally and offers advantages for commodities and foreign exchange trading. His weekly analysis on the manipulation on the gold and silver market by governments and central backs is unique in the German-speaking world, since he is one of the few who is able to prove it in functional trade and take advantage of it. Prof. Hans-Jürgen Bocker travels the world as a finance and business journalist, columnist, business consultant and author but also dedicates himself to supporting junior managers as a professor. He has been active in numerous functions for 34 years in 57 different countries. He is able to use his multi-faceted education in technology, engineering and economics whenever technological expertise is required in combination with economic expertise. Ralf Borgsmüller has been a Partner at PSM Vermögensverwaltung GmbH in Grünwald near München since 2003. PSM is Germany's oldest private asset management independent of banks (founded in 1965). Mr Borgsmüller and PSM in time correctly projected the assessment crisis 2000-2003, the big financial crisis 2008-2009 and the debt crisis 2010-2011, even in well-known media. Thus, the PSM was able to avoid losses for its customers in all three crises and to even achieve profits.

Prior to joining PSM, Ralf Borgsmüller held management positions at renowned asset management companies, most recently he was executive partner of a large private German Family Office. With over 30 years of experience in the financial and capital markets as well as numerous presentations for various workshop organizations he has earned himself a well founded reputation in the domain of financial markets and private asset management.

Werner-J. Brech has been part of the investment banking business for about 40 years now. Currently, he is CEO of Hühn Vermögensverwaltungs mbH in Düsseldorf as well as board member of financial service company AAM AG. He is also part of various supervisory and advisory boards of companies in the commodity sector. During his career, in which he occupied many leading positions in nationally and internationally operating businesses, he has listed hundreds of emissions with fixed interests and many share values. Together with his partners from America, he helps start up companies at the capital market, holds IPO conferences and works in the fields of investor and public relations.

Joachim Brunner is executive shareholder of IR-World.com Finanzkommunikation GmbH, which incorporates IR-World.com and the news provider IRW-Press.de as well as the market letter "Smallcap-Investor". Mr. Brunner is chief Editor, his main focus is on Smallcaps and commodities. He especially concentrates on junior-producers and explorers. From 1991 to 1999 Joachim Brunner worked in the securities department of VKB-Bank in Linz, where he last was responsible for trading foreign stocks. Mr. Brunner is CEO of Vermögensverwaltung PORTFOLIO INVEST in Salzburg.

Christoph Brüning is certified as a financial analyst by the Deutsche Vereinigung für Finanzanalyse und Asset Management, a German organisation for investment professionals, and was manager of the financial research company Value Research GmbH until 1999. Today, Brüning is the managing director of Value Relations GmbH, which he founded in 1999, also shifting his focus from biotechnology to mining and exploration. In 2011, he published a book about rare earth elements called "Seltene Erden - der wichtigste Rohstoff des 21.Jahrhunderts“ (Rare earth elements - the most important resource of the 21st century).

Markus Bußler is responsible for the commoditiy sector at the investor magazine "Der Aktionär". He is chief editor of the newsletter "Goldfolio" and author of the book "Gold - Player, Märkte, Chancen." (Gold - Player, Markets, Opportunities) He also hosts the television program "Bußlers Goldfolio" on AKTIONÄRTV every Friday. His focus is on the precious metals gold and silver, in partcular on junior producers and exploration companies.

Andreas Böger is the portfolio manager since inception of the APM Gold & Resources Fund, a product of Absolute Portfolio Management GmbH, Vienna. Due to a strong active risk-management framework, the fund has won awards for succcessfully navigating the crisis of 2008, e.g. 1st place in the Alternative Investments Awards by the Austrian Geld Magazin, category „Commodiites-Equities-Gold“. Andreas Böger was born and raised in South-Africa and holds a medical degree from the LM University in Munich; he has worked in the financial industry since 1999 and has been portfolio manager at Absolute Portfolio Management since 2007.

Peter Bösenberg studied at the University of Technology in Dresden. He completed his MBA in May of 2004. He specializes in Controlling, Financing, Innovations, Management and Communications. After having completed an internship at Société Générale, he became their employee and is responsible for commodity derivatives.

Prior to the CSE, Mr. Carleton spent five years working as a business development consultant in Toronto and New York. Before that Richard spent 12 years with the TSE as a member of the exchange’s senior management team. He was responsible for the market data and index services lines, the public relations and investor education groups, and developed the exchange’s strategic direction on new market services.

Josh Crumb is a resource industry entrepreneur and an intellectual leader in commodity market economics and strategy.  Mr. Crumb founded LEC Minerals Capital in late 2011 and serves as a director of several public companies listed in Toronto and New York. Mr. Crumb was previously the Senior Global Metals Strategist at Goldman Sachs in London, where he set Goldman’s metal price forecasts and made many notable buy and sell calls with impeccable timing during the post-financial crisis run in metals prices. While at Goldman Mr. Crumb was also instrumental in developing a house view on metal prices and mining investment strategy, combining his expertise with renowned commodities and oil strategist Jeff Currie and famed Global Macro strategist Jim O’Neil (who coined the term “BRICs” in the late 90’s). As a graduate engineer, Peter Denk formerly worked for well-known companies in the IT sector for over 20 years. Thanks to his scientific education, he is accustomed to carrying out unbiased analyzes and collecting data to gain an understanding of new processes. As he is in general approaching facts as unbiased as possible he early on noticed, that certain subjects are ignored completely or presented wrongly by mass media.

By reading many books, doing research, collecting own experiences and keeping in contact with extraordinary sources he became aware of a series of connections in politics, economics, financial systems, and spiritual knowledge, which led to his writing career. In 2008, he published his first book, and since 2009 has been writing for several websites about provisions for crises, timelines and current issues. During his research and investigations it became increasingly clear, that in Germany and worldwide we are heading for scenarios in which the usual infrastructure, at least temporarily, will no longer be available. As deputy CIO of Tiberius Asset Management AG, Zug/ Switzerland Dr. Torsten Dennin is responsible for analyzing international commodity markets with a focus on energy. Furthermore, he covers natural resources equities from the global sectors oil & gas, metals & mining, and agriculture. Prior to joining Tiberius in 2013, Dr. Dennin has been responsible for managing commodity funds as well as single accounts at Deutsche Bank, Frankfurt am Main (2003-2010).

Afterwards he managed a commodity fund and a natural resources equity fund at VCH Investments, Frankfurt am Main (2010-2013). Dr. Dennin holds a master equivalent degree in Economics from University of Cologne/ Germany, studied at Pennsylvania State University/ USA, and wrote his PhD-thesis on "Commodity Futures in Asset Management". He is author of two books, published numerous articles in industry journals, and appears regularly in Press & TV to commend on commodity markets.

Reinhard Deutsch graduated from the University of Frankfurt/Main. During his studies he focused on money theory. The former self-employed business man worked as a freelance journalist and finance publisher. He became known through numerous articles on money theoretical issues and on silver. His columns were among the first to be published on GoldSeiten.de. His first book "The Money Trap – Why the Silver Price will explode" (Buch "Die Geldfalle - Warum der Silberpreis explodieren wird") was already published as early as 2000. Michael Ecker, born on June 14th, 1985 in Linz (Upper Austria), has been idealistic and non-profit since his childhood. After his young political commitment, he left and founded the citizens' initiative "Wir Mühlviertler". He is the owner of the company VOLKSKRAFTWERK for energy autonomy and development of new technologies.

Daniel D. Eckert was born in 1970 and is editor at the economics department of Die Welt, a German national daily newspaper, and its Sunday issue Welt am Sonntag. The scope of his work for the broadsheet covers monetary policy and public finance. At the age of 16, he experienced a financial crash awakening his interest for money and the stock market in general and the hidden laws and risks of financial markets in particular. Prior to his studies and career as a journalist, Eckert was working for a major German commercial bank. This time “behind the counter” made him a critical observer of our modern credit system. He studied history and German Linguistics in Saarbrücken, Freiburg, at the Humboldt University of Berlin, and the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. He is married and lives with his wife and two children in Berlin. Eckert has an interest in art and regards eduction as the best kind of investment.

Jordan Eliseo is a respected financial commentator and economic analyst from Australia, with close to 20 years experience in the financial sector. After working for some of the biggest names in the global financial marketplace including Deutsche Bank, JP Morgan and AMP Capital, Jordan has amassed a wealth of experience analysing investment markets.

Furthermore, he is also trainer and consultant on topics like regulatory law and risk management, specifically for executive boards of banks, managers of municipal works and companies, supervisory boards, administrative boards, chamberlains (debt management) and treasurers of banks and companies. Roland Eller has published various specialist articles and standard works on fiscal topics.

F. William Engdahl is the author of the best-selling book on oil and geopolitics, "Mit der Ölwaffe zur Weltmacht" ("A Century of War: Anglo-American Politics and the New World Order"). Mr Engdahl is one of the more widely discussed analysts of current political and economic developments, and his provocative articles and analyses have appeared in many newspapers and magazines and on well-known international websites such as GlobalResearch.com, FinancialSense.com, Asia Inc., 321Gold.com. In addition to discussing oil geopolitics and energy issues, he has written on issues of agriculture, GATT, WTO, IMF, energy, politics and economics for more than 30 years. The investment guru Marc Faber is famous for his ponytail and his extravagant ideas. The Swiss-born expert says in simple words what many do not even dare think of. For this he is highly appreciated and respected. He now lives in Hongkong and Thailand, works as an assets manager and consultant for banks, writes books and publishes the stock exchange letter "The Gloom, Boom & Doom Report" for his fans. His legendary reputation stems from several wise predictions on the development of stock exchanges. His current book in the German language "Zukunftsmarkt Asien" ("The Future Market of Asia") was published at Finanzbuch Verlag.

Marco Feiten has been interested in shares, economics and stock exchanges since he was 15. After doing his A-levels and the civil service he served an apprenticeship as qualified bank clerk and founded Trierer Aktienclub 2000 (www.TAC2000.de), whose chaiman he is and for which he publishes the research report "Börseninfo" ("Stock Exchange Info"). He graduated in business (with focus on Services Administration and Medium Sized Business) from the University of Trier. Besides he works as an author, for example for Smart Investor Media GmbH. Antal E. Fekete, Professor, Memorial University of Newfoundland, is a renowned mathematician and monetary expert. He was born in Budapest, Hungary, in 1932. Having graduated from the Eötvös Loránd University of Budapest in mathematics in 1955, he left Hungary in the wake of the 1956 anti-Communist uprising that was brutally put down by the occupying Soviet troops.

He immigrated to Canada in the following year and was appointed Assistant Professor at the Memorial University of Newfoundland in 1958. In 1993, after 35 years’ of service he retired with the rank of Full Professor. During this period he also had tours of duty as visiting professor at Columbia University in the City of New York (1961), Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland (1964), Acadia University, Wolfville, Nova Scotia (1970), Princeton University, Princeton, New Jersey (1974). Since 2005 he has been Professor at Large of Intermountain Institute for Science and Applied Mathematics (IISAM), Missoula, Montana.

Antal E. Fekete, who is a proponent of the gold standard and a critic of the current monetary system, devotes much of his time to writing and lecturing on fiscal and monetary reform with special regard to the role of gold and silver.

Markus Fieber has specialized in trading algorithms and the development of Black Boxes, with focus on equities and derivates Furthermore, he hosts work shops for institutional and private investors in Portfolio Insurance and Derivate Trading. He holds lectures at various events for investors.

International financier Robert Friedland is the founder and Chairman of Ivanhoe Mines Ltd., a Canadian public company whose remarkable copper and gold discoveries in Mongolia have sparked a gold rush by western mining companies during the past three years. Ivanhoe Mines has successfully secured approximately US$440 million in international equity financings since drilling its initial discovery hole at Oyu Tolgoi (Turquoise Hill), in Mongolia's South Gobi region, in July, 2001. Oyu Tolgoi, now internationally recognized as one of the world's largest copper-gold porphyry deposits. As Co-Chairman and controlling shareholder of Ivanhoe Nickel & Platinum Ltd. (Ivanplats), Mr. Friedland is closely involved with several mining projects in Australia and Africa, including the development of a significant nickel-platinum-copper deposit on South Africa's Bushveld Complex. Mr. Friedland also is Deputy Chairman and controlling shareholder of Ivanhoe Energy and Co-Chairman of its China-focused operating subsidiary, Sunwing Energy. Ivanhoe Energy's other international interests include conventional oil and gas production and exploration in the United States and innovative technologies to upgrade heavy oil to light oil and to produce cleaner burning liquid fuels from natural gas.

Marc Friedrich studied international business economics. During his studies he intensively focused on the economy and financial markets. After graduating he was confronted with the concepts of risk capital, capital investment and investment consulting while working for a Swiss venture capital company. He was able to gain a lot of valuable international work experience in Argentina, the UK, Switzerland, and the US. During a stay in Argentina, Friedrich observed a national bancruptcy in 2001 and its devastating consequences.

Jürgen Ganßleben is an executive of the independent Frankfurt-based asset management firm G&P Institutional Management AG. He acts as an advisor to the funds G&P Exploration & Mining (A0JLUY), whose focus is on the substantial exploration shares in the precious and industrial metal sector.

Manfred Gburek is an independent economic and financial journalist from Frankfurt am Main and works as columnist for "GoldSeiten.de" and "WiWo.de". He started his career as an investment adviser and later continued working as an asset manager. For 30 years, he was a member of the German Society of Investment Analysis and Asset Management (DVFA). Prof. Dr. Wilhelm Hankel was born in 1929 in Gdansk and was Chief Economist at Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau, the bank that was founded to help rebuild Germany after WW II. Willem Middelkoop (Geneva, 1962) is a fund manager and author. In 2008 he co-founded the Commodity Discovery Fund, after working as a market commentator for Dutch National TV since 2001. In 2008 he also started Amsterdamgold.com, a web shop for gold and silver bullion which he sold in 2011, after yearly sales grew to over 100 million euro.

Willem is a member of the Advisory Board of the London based Official Monetary and Financial Institutions Forum (OMFIF) and a founding shareholder of Startup-bootcamp Amsterdam, a start-up accelerator program.

He is author of several books covering the economy and the history of financial markets. At the end of 2013 he published The Big Reset, his first book in English and a worldwide bestseller (Amsterdam University Press). He has sold over 100.000 copies of his books, which have been translated into Chinese, Arabic, German, Polish, Portuguese, Turkish and Italian.

David Morgan has been an economist for over 20 years. He graduated with degrees in economy and finance, and is very much considered as an insider of the financial markets. Michael Mross (born 1958) is a native of Cologne. While studying law he discovered his interest in the stock market and journalism. Bill Murphy grew up in Glen Ridge, N.J., and graduated from the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University in 1968. In his senior year he broke all the Ivy League single-year pass-receiving records. He then became a starting wide receiver for the Boston Patriots of the American Football League. He went on to work for various Wall Street brokerage firms and specialized in commodity futures. He began as a Merrill Lynch trainee and went on to Shearson Hayden Stone and Drexel Burnham. From there he became affiliated with introducing brokers and eventually started his own brokerage on 5th Avenue in New York. Dipl.-Ing. Hans Jörg Müllenmeister was born in 1941. He studied electrical engineering in Aachen, and from 1966 he was an electrical engineer in the field of technical documentation. A trip to the Far East awakened his interest in precious stones, and since 1978 he has been a diamond evaluator and expert in precious stones, with a specialisation in precious coloured stones. He is the author of many books on the subject, and for the past 12 years he has worked independently, and is a publicist in the fields of asset value, precious metals, precious stones and diamonds.

"I am frequently asked: 'How did you first become interested in the stock exchange?' " Dirk Müller can't even name the reason for his passion for the exchange. It all started in the 1980's, just before his A-Levels. He was inspired by Friedhelm Busch's comments in the Telebörse (Tele Stock Exchange) and the girls in the movie "Wallstreet". Instead of studying for his A-Levels, Mr. Müller read the "Handelsblatt" and had a try with his first investments placed with the local bank. Later he started an apprenticeship as a banker with Deutsche Bank in Mannheim. He even became assistant to Hans Dittmer, expert in Frankfurt's bond trading. But every word counts! His best teacher was Rainer Roubal, founder of ICF AG. It was Roubal too who gave Müller the idea for his conviction: Clients need to be protected.

Dr. Jürgen Müller studied physical engineering at the Fachhochschule Lübeck, and physics at the University of Swansea (Wales) and the University of Bath (England). Since 2005 he is founder and CEO of  Einkaufsgemeinschaft für Gold und Silber and since 2009 of Einkaufsgemeinschaft für Technologiemetalle. The Kopp-Verlag Rottenburg published his books "Generation Gold"  and "Gewinnen mit Gold und Silber" (Making profits in gold an silver). In 2012 he received his doctorate from the University of Würzburg, Department of Geography and Geology. Dr. Müller is lecturer at the DHBW Stuttgart.

Rolf Nef (born 1954) has over 20 years of experience in portfolio management and advice, and has had several managing positions in leading Swiss financial institutions (among others at UBS, Credit Suisse and the Union Bancaire Privée). Rolf Nef is co-author of an investment book: Geld, Gold und die Wahrheit (Money, Gold and the Truth, together with Ferdinand Lips und Jacques Trachsler), and has written numerous analyses for many different financial magazines. He completed his Masters degree in economics at the University of Zurich and is a full member of the Swiss VQF, a self-regulating organization of the Financial Services Standards Association. Prof. Nölling (born in 1933) studied economics in Cologne, Hamburg and Berkley, California. He has a German university diploma in economics, a Master of Arts degree and an Ph.D. in political sciences. From 1969-74 he worked not only as university lecturer but also as member of the German parliament. 1974-82 he served as senator in the German city of Hamburg and 1982-1992 he was a council member of the German central bank Deutsche Bundesbank. Since 1995 he works as professor for economics at the University of Hamburg. His became famous when he filed a lawsuit against the introduction of the Euro together with the professors Hankel, Schachtschneider and Starbatty in 1998.

Steffen Orben has 15 years of experience in currencies and commodities. For more than 11 years he has held a variety of positions in currency and commodities trading for Deutsche Bank AG. Before joining Deutsche Bank, he was a currency trader at JP Morgan in London.

Prof. Dr. Max Otte teaches at the Institut für Unternehmensführung und Entrepreneurship at the University of Graz. He is an expert for economy and finance and a renowned authority in the field of value investing. He published many books and articles about economic and financial topics. Steffen Paulick is a qualified bank clerk and has been working in the banking sector since 1982. From 1992 onwards he has specialised in assets consultancy with private customers. Since 2001 he has promoted investing in precious metals to maintain purchasing power. At the same time he trains staff for this type of investment. Moreover he has held several presentations on that particular topic at customer events over the past two years. Scientist Dr. Josef Pies, born in 1956, studied biology and did his PhD in cytology (cell biology). In his thesis he deals with the course of movements of cells – the units that work on the basis of colloids and upon which the effects of colloidal silver can be added. After having completed his studies, he started work in the pharmaceutical industry and has gained a broad spectrum of knowledge and experience in the field of medicine. Andreas Popp, born in 1961, is a lecturer in macroeconomics. He started his career in 1983 in the field of risk management at a subsidiary of Guardian Royal Exchange Ltd. in Hamburg and London. His specialty was the classification of oil producing companies, commanding the post of an inspector with a focused FI broker. From 1984 onwards, he was responsible for the coporate organization of  Popp GmbH. In 2000, he became CEO of Popp AG.

He transformed the company, which was founded by his father back in 1959, to a prosperous group of companies. Jens Rabe is a self-employed commodity trader. Uwe Reinelt comes from a modest background. After finishing his studies in German and English, he pursued a career as male nurse in 1976. Born in 1962, Dr. Markus Stahl is assistant manager of asset management at the regional bank Landesbank Baden-Württemberg (was BW-Bank) in Stuttgart in southern Germany and at the same time Member of the Board of a gold fund with fisical gold backing. Mr. Stahl has written various publications about system risks, inflation, gold and commodities.

Luzi Stamm is a Swiss politician of the national parliament, to which he belongs since 1991. In 2001 he changed membership from the FDP to the SVP. As memebers of the national parliament are not full-time politicians, he runs a law office in Baden, canton Aargau. He is a memeber of the board of AUNS (Action for a independant and neutral Switzerland) and one of the seven vice-presidents of the political party SVP.

In 2007 he decided to start the goldinitiative together with friends from his party. This inititative is coming to vote on November 30st 2014. Jochen Stanzl is chief editor of the online publication "Rohstoff-Report.de". During his studies of economics he co-founded the Munich finance portal BörseGo AG in April 2000. Since then, Mr. Stanzl is responsible for the editorial contents of Boerse-Go.de. He has special knowledge in the field of commodities and supervises the extensive columns on commodities at "www.boerse-go.de". Joachim Starbatty studied Economics and Political Sciences at the Universities of Cologne and Freiburg/Breisgau in the beginning of the 1960s. In 1964, he graduated with a Diploma and earned his doctorate as Dr. rer. pol. in 1967. In the following years, he worked as an academic assistant for the former State Secretary Müller-Armack and as a scientific referee for the Union in the Bundestag.

In 1975, he received his habilitation from the Faculty of Management, Economics and Social Sciences of the University  of Cologne. He was then announced as professor for political science at the University of Bochum and as professor for economics at the University of Tübingen where he was also the dean of the faculty of Business and Economics. Starbatty was announced as vice-chairman of the "Aktionsgemeinschaft Soziale Marktwirtschaft". Since the 1990ies, Starbatty has held several guest professorships at the University of Washington and one at the Doshisha University Kyoto.

He was awarded an honorary doctorate by the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics of the European University Vadriana, Frankfurt/Oder. Since 2005, Joachim Starbatty has been emeritus professor. He is the spokesman of the Jenaer Allianz, a cooperation network for the renewal of the social market economy.

Jürgen Stark has been a Member of the Executive Board and the Governing Council of the European Central Bank (ECB). He had been responsible for the fields of economics, statistics and information systems until he resigned from his positions in 2011. Since then he has worked as an independent economist.

Stark had been Vice-President of the Deutsche Bundesbank before he started working for the ECB. Prior to joining the Bundesbank, he had served in various positions for the Ministry of Economy, the German Chancellery and the Federal Ministry of Finance for more than two decades, finally being responsible for national, European and international monetary and financial issues. From 1995 to 1998 he served as State Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Finance and as Personal Representative ("sherpa") of the Federal Chancellor in preparations of the G7 / G8 Economic Summits.

His publications include several articles and papers on public finance, monetary policy, the Economic and Monetary Union of the European Union, institutional economics and the global financial system that have been published in economic journals.

Jürgen Stark was born in Gau-Odernheim (Rhineland-Palatinate) in 1948. He studied economics at the Universities of Hohenheim and Tübingen before he received his diploma in 1973, followed by his doctorate in economics in 1975. Since 2005, he has been Honorary Professor at the Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen. Furthermore, he is Deputy Chairman of the Administrative Board and the Board of Trustees of the Ifo Institute in Munich, a member of the Board of Trustees of the Bertelsmann Foundation and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the foundation of the University of Hildesheim.

Ronald-Peter Stöferle, MSc was born in Vienna on 27th October 1980. He studied Business Administration and Finance at the Vienna University of Economics and Business and in the USA. During the following three years, he was working as a trainee student in the fields of  Fixed Income and Credit Investments at Raiffeisen Zentralbank. In 2006, he began working for Erste Group in Vienna. Since 2007, Stöferle has written the internationally acclaimed "In Gold we Trust" reports, which have been quoted amongst others by Bloomberg TV, CNBC as well as The Wall Street Journal or The Economist. Furthermore, he was responsible for the analysis of oil and gold in the Erste Group for more than four years. Apart from his research activities, Stöferle was also responsible for the management of two baskets of gold shares and one basket of silver shares.

Since 2013, Stöferle has been partner and member of the management of Liechtenstein-based Incrementum AG. He is co-manager of a commodity fund and issues a global macro fund being based on the Austrian School of economics. In addition, he is a member and lecturer at the Institut für Wertewirtschaft in Vienna as well as a lecturer at Wiener Börse Akademie.

Edmund Stössel is a trained lawyer and specialized in the recent history of the German constitutional law during his studies in Frankfurt on the Main. Afterwards, he dedicated himself to television journalism and has been on and behind the camera for the regional channel Rhein-Main TV as video journalist, economic editor and presenter since 2010. He has been working in a team at Value Relations GmbH since 2012 and in his position as Director Operations he is mainly responsible for investor relations within the company.

Richard Sulík, born in 1968 in today's Slovakia, is an economist, businessman and politician. Since 2009, Sulik has been Chairman of the liberal political party Sloboda a Solidarita. In 2010, he became the 5th Speaker of the National Council of the Slovak Republic.

In 1991, he founded the company FaxCopy, which he ran until 2001. During this time, he took up his studies at the University of Economics in Bratislava, where he did his doctorate in 2003.

After his graduation, Sulík was working as a special advisor of the Slovak Minister of Finance, whom he convinced to take his master thesis as a blueprint for the 2004 Slovak tax reform which introduced a 19% flat tax on all types of income and a 19% value added tax. In 2009, Sulík founded the political party Sloboda a Solidarita (Freedom and Solidarity) which he leads as Chairman and which was the third-strongest party being elected to the National Council of the Slovak Republic in 2010. In 2011, his party caused a stir by pronouncing against Slovakia's participation in the European Stability Mechanism.

Roland Tichy is a graduate of the German School for Journalists and studied business economics, politics and communication sciences in Munich and New Orleans.

As scientific assistant, he worked within the professorship for health economics at the economic institute of the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich. After the governmental takeover by Helmut Kohl, Tichy moved to the planning staff of the chancellery. Afterwards, he worked for WirtschaftsWoche as correspondent. After the reunification, he became representative of the broadcast commissioner of the eastern states of Germany and was responsible for the restructuring of the electronic media in eastern states of Germany. 

Roland Tichy worked for recognized German economic magazines. At Daimler Benz AG, he led the department of "Corporate Issues Management" which reported directly to the chairman of the board.

Tichy headed the Berlin office for Handelsblatt. From August 2007 to July 2014, he worked as chief editor of the WirtschaftsWoche. In 2008, he was awarded with the Ludwig-Erhard-Preis for economic journalism due to his column "Tichys Totale". A selection of his columns have been regularly published as books since 2009. He wrote additional books on the topics of immigration and demographic development, among others "Ausländer rein" and "Die Pyramide steht Kopf" which he published in collaboration with his wife Andrea.

Since July 2014, Roland Tichy is active as chairman of the Ludwig-Erhard-Stiftung e.V.,  journalistically and politically. The Ludwig-Erhard-Stiftung has the task of supporting the liberal fundamentals in politics and economy and to strengthen the social market economy in the name of Ludwig Erhard. Its aim is to create a liberal order for the safety of humane lifeforms. The Ludwig-Erhard-Stiftung is a charitable organization. It is independent form parties and associations.

James Turk has specialized in international banking, finance and investments since graduating from George Washington University with a B.A. degree in International Economics in 1969. His business career began at The Chase Manhattan Bank (now JP Morgan Chase Bank), which included assignments in Thailand, the Philippines and Hong Kong. He subsequently joined the investment and trading company of a prominent precious metals trader based in Greenwich, Connecticut. He moved to the United Arab Emirates in December 1983 to be appointed Manager of the Commodity Department of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, a position he held until resigning in 1987. Since then Mr. Turk has acted as Chief Executive of Greenfield Associates, a firm he established in 1985 to publish his work and to provide investment research and trading advice, principally to investment managers, hedge funds and commodity trading advisors in the United States and Europe. From 1995 to 1999 he was a Director of Lion Resource Management Ltd. of London. Mr. Turk is the Founder of GoldMoney, a new electronic currency for use in ecommerce. Furthermore he is a well known author and columnist.

Originally from South Africa, Paul van Eeden is a well-known gold and currency expert. Since 1995 he has worked in areas of finance and valuation of resource companies. Through this he has gained much insider knowledge into the exploration of minerals. Mr van Eeden publishes a weekly market letter and comments on markets, economy and on other related areas.

Christian Vartian has more than 20 years of work experience in real economy investment banking. After his studies he worked as a specialist for the implementation of entire industrial enterprises thus advising private as well as public companies on infrastructure, real estate, and power plant projects, amongst others the Austrian electricity company and Gaz de France. In doing so, he worked closely together with U.S. investment banks.

During his investment activities in the real economy he was mainly involved in projects that generated cash flow for refinancing and barely needed equity capital. After the bankruptcy of Lehman Brothers, Vartyan resigned from these activities and started to focus on holding, measuring and hedging of precious metals. Christian Vartian became Head of Commodity for the Swiss asset management companies GIP AG and Valex AG in 2012. Together with the CEOs of GIP AG and Valex AG he is working as asset manager for a precious metal fund of Vatex and the LGT Group.

From 1991 to 1994 Mr Veneroso was a partner of the Hedge Fund Omega Advisors. There he was responsible for the formulation of global investment policies. From 1995 until 2000 and in the period before 1991 he worked for his own company and travelled all over the world as a strategic advisor to global finance managers and economic advisors. He advised institutions and governments in matters concerning money, the banking industry, financial crises, globalisation, etc. The World Bank and the Organisation of American States were just two of his customers. He acted as governmental advisor for the states of Bahrain, Brazil, Chile, Ecuador, South Korea, Mexico, Peru, Venezuela and the UAE. Herwig Weise, born in 1965, is a trained banker and Diplom-Kaufmann (business administration degree, similar to MBA). While still studying, he founded Mack & Weise Vermögensverwaltung (asset management) together with Martin Mack in 1989. In recent years Mack & Weise gained a reputation as successful open-minded thinkers. Born in 1950, Ernst Wolff grew up in south-east Asia, went to school in Germany and studied in the US. He spent part of his career of more than 20 years with Frankfurter Bank in their trading offices in Singapore and Sydney.

Peter Zgorzynski was born in 1964 is a publicly appointed and sworn expert for gold and silver coins from 1871 onwards and responsible for the numismatics of modern history. He is a trained goldsmith, who has earned the title "Meister" (master craftsman), and formerly worked as a precious metal assayer for the Dresdner Bank AG, later on for Commerzbank AG an Degussa.

Peter Ziemann, investor and computer scientist, realized more than six years ago that the global financial system based on dollars has passed its peak, and started investing in gold. He has been publishing his relevant valuations concerning the situation on the markets, including the upcoming social turnabout, in the daily market report "Zielmann's Gold-News" for more than three years.

Since 2000 Mr. Manfred Zimmel has been a professional stock exchange astrologer and editor of the stock exchange letter Amanita Market Forecasting, whose performance and high score is annually confirmed by a US-rating agency. Furthermore, he was active as a member of the investment committee and functioned as subject specialist on financial market topics. In 2006, he became free-lance and authored the monthly publication "Finanzmärkte aktuell - Konjunktur, Märkte Portfolio". Starting from 2008, he functioned as head of the Asset Management Committee at Top Ten Portfolio Management GmbH. In 2009 he took over the position as chief economist at MK Luxinvest. Born in Düsseldorf in 1959, he graduated in Cologne after completing his high school diploma, before he discovered his passion for the stock market and especially for commodities and precious metals in the late 1980s. Thanks to the imperturbable suffering of a large London broker he learned the commodity business, especially with futures and options. From 1992 to the year 2000, he directed various trading desks. As of 2008, he is a freelance journalist and blogger with a focus on precious metals.
